Diesel Hydraulics Program Photos

One thing to keep in mind as you browse these photos is that Bob Rice, the long-time instructor, is one of the most respected and experienced diesel mechanics in the field. He is regularly nominated for instructor of the year, and won last year by student vote. He is very popular with students and other members of the campus community, and does a tremendous job preparing students for the field.

Around Campus

As you browse photos of our campus, there are a few things you should keep in mind.

  • Due to fundraising and generous donations, NMCC maintains state-of-the-art facilities and is widely held to be among the most beautiful and technologically advanced colleges in the region.
  • Many common areas of campus have been recently remodeled to provide the best resources for students, including the Reed Dining Commons (complete August 2020), the Smith Wellness Center, the Gymnasium, the Library, the Esports Gaming Center, and more.

Dorm Life

For residential life on campus, it’s important to connect with Jon Blanchard, the Director of Res. Life to learn more about the different dorms and types of rooms available. In the beginning of fall semester each year there is a Move-In Day, which is when you can bring all of your things to campus and we’re ready to help you get situated and meet your fellow residential students. There are frequent optional group meetings for games, video games, trade interests, game-day parties, intramural sports, Esports, outdoor recreation activities, and many other things available to residential students.
