Automotive Collision Repair

NMCC’s Automotive Collision Repair is the only post-secondary auto collision repair program in northern New England.  The program is designed to provide broad fundamental training in the repair of collision damage, frame straightening and the replacement of body panels.  In the advanced level classes, emphasis is placed on major collision appraisal and repair and the auto body refinishing process.  Instruction is given in the painting process including hands-on experience.

The Automotive Collision Repair program meets the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) standards of quality for the training of collision repair/refinishing technicians. The program is ASE certified in: structural analysis and damage repair; non-structural analysis and damage repair; plastics and adhesives; and painting and refinishing.

Graduates of the Automotive Collision Repair program find entry-level employment opportunities with auto body and paint shops, new and used car dealers, auto glass shops and truck body builders. Click here to learn more about where this program can take you!
