Counseling

Counseling services are offered to students through the Student Services Office.  Services available include: academic counseling, personal counseling, student advocacy, coordination of related support services, and referrals to other service providers. The Director of Counseling also handles ADA issues and disability services.

The Counseling Office delivers information, workshops and assistance to aid students exploring career options and plans. Counselors may also work with students one-on-one to assist in academic or career planning or creating a success plan when a student is at risk academically.

Outside counseling is also available and can be coordinated by the NMCC counseling staff, if necessary. Outside sources of counseling include:
