Accounting – in person or online
This program provides the knowledge and skills you will need to meet the demands and opportunities of an ever-changing world driven by information technology. Electronic commerce, direct business-to-business communication, paperless work processes and other technology-intensive innovations have created new challenges and opportunities for accountants with expertise in information systems.
You will be equipped to work in accounting, auditing or information systems departments for accounting firms, software vendors or companies that have integrated sophisticated business systems for transaction processing and decision support. Many graduates continue their education and successfully pass the national CPA exam to become Certified Public Accountants.
All programs in the Business Technology Department are nationally accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
