19th Annual TD Bank Golf Tournament Raises More Than $24,400 to Support NMCC Students

The Northern Maine Community College Foundation raised more than $24,400 through its 19th Annual TD Bank Golf Tournament, held July 16 at the Presque Isle Country Club. Proceeds from the event will support student scholarships and initiatives that advance Northern Maine Community College’s mission and expand educational opportunities for students.
The tournament brought together 21 teams and 83 players for a day of friendly competition and community support. Since its inception, the annual event has generated nearly $359,000 to support the NMCC Foundation and its efforts to increase access to education and workforce opportunities across northern Maine.
The tournament was made possible through the generous support of TD Bank and more than 45 other sponsors, as well as golfers, volunteers and community partners. TD Bank has served as the tournament’s title sponsor since 2006, demonstrating its longstanding commitment to NMCC and its students.
“We are incredibly grateful to TD Bank, our sponsors, golfers, volunteers and everyone who helped make this year’s tournament a success,” said Nicole Cote, executive director of the NMCC Foundation. “The continued support of our community allows us to provide valuable resources and opportunities that help NMCC students succeed. Every contribution helps make a difference by providing students with the support they need to achieve their educational and career goals.”
Ryan Bushey, Matt Henderson, Jeremy York and Brennan Brewer captured the first gross title. The first net team consisted of Gregg Collins, Joe Clukey, Todd Pelletier and Matt Pelletier. Second net honors went to Craig Staples, Kasey Brewer, Sam Clukey and Sam Clockedile, while Shawn Lahey, Tony Lahey, Michelle Willette and Graham Berry earned third net honors.
Specialty award winners were Madison Sotomayor, women’s long drive; Drew Sotomayor, men’s long drive; Kiely McCann, women’s closest to the pin; and Brennan Brewer, men’s closest to the pin.
