Strong Turnout Marks 2026 Job Fair at NMCC
A strong turnout filled the NMCC gym during the 2026 Job Fair, where students, alumni, and community members connected with employers from across Aroostook County and beyond.
More than 600 job seekers attended the 2026 Job Fair at Northern Maine Community College, marking the largest turnout in recent years.
Participants included current NMCC students, alumni, local high school students, and members of the broader community. Attendees connected with nearly 70 employers representing a wide range of industries, including health care, skilled trades, manufacturing, business, public service, and the military.

The event also featured strong participation from public service and community-based organizations, including local agencies and nonprofit organizations.
The annual event provides a direct link between education and employment, offering opportunities for networking, recruitment, and career exploration.
“We always look forward to hosting this annual job fair as a way to support NMCC students in their career journeys. Welcoming local job seekers and students to connect with attending organizations is another way we can support our community as well,” said Cassie Rogeski, job fair organizer and student support career specialist at NMCC.
The strong turnout reflects the college’s ongoing efforts to build and maintain partnerships across Aroostook County, bringing together employers, educators, and community organizations in one place. Those relationships continue to play a key role in connecting students and community members with meaningful career opportunities.
Employers noted strong engagement throughout the day, citing steady traffic and a high level of interest from candidates. Many described the event as a valuable opportunity to connect with the community and highlight the range of career opportunities available across Aroostook County.
