Northern Maine Community College has received a recognition plaque for its role in the 2016 Biathlon World Cup competition.

Event director for the competition in Presque Isle, Jane Towle made the presentation.

“The event was a rousing success thanks to volunteerism from the entire community and Northern Maine Community College was there at every turn.  From the building of new permanent media booths, to the transportation of materials to the venue, to  preparing additional housing on campus for the athletes, NM generously offered its expertise and resources.  The biathlon committee is pleased to present this handmade plaque to the College as thanks for its assistance.”
