ARTICULATION/TRANSFER AGREEMENTS

Articulation outlines how classes and programs fit together to meet student needs. Agreements may be between high schools, career and technical education (CTE) schools, and the College; or between the College and four-year institutions. Together, these create pathways for student success

Through dual enrollment, students complete college-level coursework while in high school. Qualified CTE instructors teach courses using the College’s syllabus and materials. Students earn both high school and college credit for their work.

For students interested in transferring credits from a Maine community college to a specific university within the University of Maine System, MaineStreet offers a list of courses for that community college that are typically recognized as equivalent courses, acceptable for transfer.
